FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: axis with a disc is installed in a bearing unit body of a soil cultivating disc on bearings. One of the axis supports is floating, the other one is fixing. The fixing support perceives the radial and single-sided axial forces. In direction opposite to the action of the single-sided axial force, the axis movement is limited with supports, or the axis interacts with the body by means of a limiting thrust bearing. The fixing support is represented by a radial thrust bearing. The distance between the supports is joined to the disc diametre and a contact angle of a fixing bearing. At least one support is arranged as self-adjusting.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher bearing capacity of the bearing unit under conditions of a tilting torque impact.
