FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: bearing unit for perception of overturning moment consists of case (1) and of shaft or axle (2) installed in case (1) by means of radial-thrust or thrust-radial bearings (3, 4) with wide side of their external rings arranged towards each other. Fixation of at least one of bearings (3, 4) is made either (and) with self-alignment, in particular, in a ball support (5), or (and) with guaranteed tightness, in particular, with thrust to guide (6) of the bearing connected with flexible element (7).
EFFECT: increased carrying capacity of bearing unit at overturning moment, avoiding mutual distortion of bearing rings and improved conditions of their operation.
