FIELD: packing industry.
SUBSTANCE: container closure unit comprises a container neck and a closure. The container neck has side walls, which define a hole at its one end and an edge around the hole. At the same time the closure has a base part and a threaded skirt part. There is the first helical thread on the neck and the second helical thread on the inner surface of the threaded skirt of the closure. The first and second threads are configured to enable a user to fix, remove and again fix the closure into a closing position on the neck by turning of the closure on the neck. Inside the closure there is a sealing insert passing from the specified part of the base, substantially concentrically with the threaded skirt part of the closure. The sealing insert comprises two or more longitudinally spaced peripheral sealing ribs on the outer surface for engagement with the inner surface of the container neck, closest to the specified edge, when the closure is fixed on the container neck. The sealing skirt passes from the specified part of the closure base in the gap between the sealing insert and the threaded skirt part of the closure, substantially concentrically with the sealing insert and the threaded skirt part of the closure. The sealing skirt comprises two or more longitudinally spaced peripheral sealing ribs on the inner surface for engagement with the outer surface of the container neck, closest to the specified edge, when the closure is fixed on the container neck. When in use, two of specified sealing ribs on the sealing insert are arranged substantially at identical longitudinal distances from the part of the closure base, as two peripheral sealing ribs on the sealing skirt, by means of which the edge of the container neck is pressed between the sealing ribs on the insert of the closure and the sealing skirt in two or more longitudinally arranged locations, when the closure is in the fixed position on the container neck.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at creation of a clamping seal for closure units of containers, which provides for efficient sealing without necessity in a gasket, and with no need in considerable axial sealing force between the container neck and the closure.
