PROCEDURE FOR TREATMENT OF SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCT OUT OF LOW ALLOYED DISPERSE-HARDENING COPPER ALLOY WITH CONTENTS OF NICKEL TO 1,6 %, BERRILIUM 0,2-0,8 % AND TITANIUM TO 0,15 % Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC C22F1/08

Abstract RU 2416672 C1

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: here is claimed procedure for treatment of semi-finished product out of low-alloyed disperse-hardening copper alloy with contents of nickel to 1.6 %, beryllium 0.2-0.8 % and titanium to 0.15 %. The procedure consists in deforming, quenching and ageing. Deformation is carried out with rate as high as 0,5 m/s and reduction with degree of deformation as high as 40 % at temperature 0.74-0.8 of melting temperature; quenching - at temperature 0.86-0.98 of melting temperature with isothermal conditioning to the moment of commencement of intense processes of grain growth and intense re-crystallisation. The product is aged at temperature 0.34-0.43 of melting temperature during 2-3.5 hours.

EFFECT: raised strength characteristics of alloy, uniform structure in volume of semi-finished product at maintaining high electro-conductivity.
