FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: there controlled is current and voltage intensity in three-phase electric line (30), emergency phase is defined at measurement point (40). There calculated are load compensated zero and negative current sequence with the use of proportion of electric circuit total admittance zero sequence and electric circuit total admittance zero sequence without emergency electric line (30) and with the use of emergency phase negative current sequence and zero current sequence. There calculated is load compensated voltage to neutral of emergency phase with the use of compensated zero current sequence. There used is compensated negative current sequence and compensated voltage to neutral for calculating of distance between measurement point and short circuit point.

EFFECT: possibility to use for defining of one-phase ground short circuit irrespective of circuit ground method, insensitivity to load distribution and short circuit high values.
