FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in brush for electric machines the lower part of rubber patch piece is made in the form of cylinder and connected to its upper part by means of connection strap; on contact surface of upper part of rubber patch piece there is cylinder-shaped chute; at that, chute radius Rc and pressure element radius Rp.e. are related to each other by means of ratio Rc=(1,11,5) Rp.e. , and contact surface of chute is coated with antifriction material; at that, rubber patch piece is arranged in axial direction between current-carrying wires with gap.
EFFECT: improving operating reliability of brush owing to enhancing the current collection process from the point of view of providing continuous contact and uniform distribution of current along the whole surface of contact part of the brush, and reducing the brush wear.
