FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: actuator includes reversible electric motor and transmission to bring the actuating element having the possibility of back-and-forth movement into action. Actuating element, motor and transmission has no self-locking. There is brake to retain the actuating element in any position when electric motor is not active. The above brake can also be released with circuit breaker mechanism. Motor is used as generator when the brake is released, and stress created with generator is used to control the speed of actuating element. There is quick-acting circuit breaker which allows disengaging the actuating element from motor and transmission for correction of position in such state; at that, movement of actuating element in disengaged state occurs at controlled speed.
EFFECT: simplifying and control of speed during disengagement.
