FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises bringing fluid to clathrate-formation conditions as to pressure and temperature and adding sufficient amount of clathrate-forming substance, a "host", to convert all gas into clathrate and to form fluid suspension. Fluid suspension is then transferred by pipeline to destination. Alternative method comprises transfer of fluid via circular pipeline that carries transfer fluid that includes clathrate-formation inhibitors. Invention covers also thermal pump wherein clathrate-forming composition makes working fluid.
EFFECT: reduced costs, higher efficiency, lower fluid transfer pressure.
