FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for clamping work pieces with high thermal expansion factor at machine tools for precision dry machining. For this, holders are used to damp machine tool and workpiece holder vibrations that feature low heat conductivity, low thermal expansion factor and are made from polymer composite material, workpiece being rigidly clamped by vacuum and/or mechanical clamps in machining. Coolant channels incorporating high heat conductivity plates transfer heat power from/to it to keep it isothermal in machining, control and assembly on eliminating dimensional variations and increasing process reproducibility. System uses vacuum and fluid pumps, heater(s)/cooler, temperature pickup(s) and regulators to allow machining with high-precision allowances and reduce erroneous positioning and assembly costs. Proposed system may also be used for cooling linear induction motor of machine tool.
EFFECT: reduced time of machining, better surface finishing, ruling out manual finishing.
