FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering and can be used in production of tail rotor and main rotor of helicopters and aircraft propellers. Helicopter rotor blade comprises multilayer lining of fibrous composite material and insert. Insert is made of spherical plastic. Spheroplastic material, the lining material and the film glue, when used, contain the same polymer as the binder. Insert is made with perforation through or blind holes. Method of manufacturing blade consists in making insert from spheroplasty, applying on it prepregs workpiece of fibrous composite material to form skin 1 and crimping obtained blade workpiece with hardening of skin 1, wherein spheroplastic and prepreg material are used containing the same polymer as binder.
EFFECT: redistribution of the load between all elements of the blade is provided, which makes it possible to reduce the thickness of the skin, increase the vibration resistance and the life of the blades.
