SUBSTANCE: here is disclosed steel material with zinc containing coating and composite coating produced by application and drying working solution on surface of steel material. This working solution contains basic compound of zirconium, compound containing vanadyle (VO²⁺), derivative of phosphorus acid, compound of cobalt, organic acid and water. pH values are within ranges from 7 to 14. Composite coating at calculation per amount of Zr element accepted as 100 wt %, contains V at amount within ranges from 10 to 45 wt %, contains P at amount within ranges from 5 to 100 wt %, contains Co at amount within ranges from 0.1 to 20 wt %, and contains organic acid at amount within ranges from 10 to 90 wt %.

EFFECT: excellent operational characteristics for all properties chosen from corrosion and blackening resistance, adhesion and alkali resistance.
