FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed windmill comprises vertical shaft whereto horizontal top and bottom plates are rigidly attached to support two rotor Savonius vanes made up of cylindrical part, wing profile on vane front tip, plate and segment-type profile on plate free end, and two rotary vanes made up of plate with its cylindrical part concaved toward wind flow. Rotary vane plate is attached to Savonius rotor vane nearby segment-type profile outside and at 90°. Rotary vane cylindrical part and plates and Savonius vanes are provided with openings made over their height to come in contact via hinged with flaps. Note here that said flaps of rotary vane cylindrical part are concaved while Savonius vane plates are convexed toward segment-type profile.
EFFECT: higher reliability due to uniform rotor revolution and reduced starting torque.
