FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for fuel distribution and poking on the grate involves arrangement of new fuel on grate by means of poking element and periodic poking of fuel during combustion process; prior to arrangement the fuel to be burnt is loosened , compacted, and after arrangement the new fuel is mixed with that being burnt. Poking of burnt fuel is performed by compacting with preliminary and following loosenings. New fuel is heated prior to arrangement. Prior to arrangement new fuel is heated to volatile content temperature.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing efficiency of combustion process and reducing heat losses at fuel combustion.
