SUBSTANCE: X-ray spectrometer has at least one prismatic dispersive element, apparatus for moving the dispersive element relative the X-ray beam, a refracted radiation sensor and apparatus for measuring the angular position of the dispersive element and the refracted radiation sensor. The X-ray spectrometer also has an additional radiation detector fitted on the path of the radiation specularly reflected from the refracting plane of the dispersive element, and apparatus for measuring its angular position relative the primary beam.

EFFECT: high accuracy of spectral measurements, easy adjustment of the spectrometre.
