SUBSTANCE: access to a reservation file is made, which contains data related to reservation and to data of a transaction of payment cards. One or several elements of the transaction data are compared to one or several elements of the reservation file to identify compliance; and based on comparison, the discount is calculated electronically on the basis of one or several elements of the transaction data or one or several elements of the reservation file. Besides, a customer may select a noncash discount, such as airline miles, points or other types of reward, when a customer may be given such a reward in an amount proportional to the discount. A machine-readable medium contains commands, which realised this method when performed by a computer.
EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities, due to automatic calculation of a discount for a customer proposed by the payment receiver via a reservation system.
