SUBSTANCE: wireless communication system is proposed, including a row of basic stations and a row of mobile stations, besides, the mobile station comprises a module to report a difference in the moments of reception, which measures difference of moments of reference signal reception sent by neighbouring basic stations, and reporting a difference of reception moments to one or several basic stations. The basic station has a module for calculation of difference of difference in moments of frame times, calculating difference of time moments of frames of reference signals of the specified basic station and the neighbouring basic stations on the basis of the difference of time moments, reported from the mobile station, and a module to report information on difference of time moments of frames, reporting a difference of time moments of frames to the mobile station, at the same time the mobile station also includes a module of cell searching, which searches for cells in the area of cell searching, limited on the basis of the difference in time moments of frames reported from the basic station.

EFFECT: reduced time for cell searching and energy consumption by a mobile station.
