FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for testing foam generators in laboratory conditions. Small-sized ejection type foam generator comprises a body with a set of grids placed at the exit and a hollow body of spray of foam generator working solution located coaxially with it, in which from the side facing the set of grids, a spraying hole is made and on the other side a socket is mounted, and between them, in the inner chamber, an insert is enclosed which is coaxial to the spray hole and inlet of the socket, the insert is made with four holes in the form of cross-lateral grooves, which are evenly spaced on the outer surface of the insert with displacement of the step equal to 1/4 of the length of the cylindrical part of the inner surface of the insert and with each successive turn of each groove relative to the previous by 90°. The grooves are made at a tangent to the inner surface of the insert blind holes, where from the side of the socket an additional set of pre-swirler is mounted. On the outer cylindrical surface of the pre-swirler with depth of 1/4 of its diameter slope channels are made. The total area of cross-lateral grooves and the total area of slope channels is equal to 0.5-0.9 of the socket inlet nozzle square, each, respectively. The insert and the pre-swirler are made with the possibility of axial displacement and fixation.
