FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: foam generator comprises a vortex sprayer, which is connected to a foam nozzle vessel arranged in the form of a cylindrical shell installed coaxially and axially relative to the sprayer. On the shell in part located closer to the sprayer there are at least three windows for air ejection, and on its outlet there is a double-phase flow splitter in the form of a package of serially connected grids, formed by two conical surfaces having a common round base. Tops of conical surfaces lie in axis of the shell vessel, besides, the conical surface facing the sprayer is arranged as full, and the conical surface facing the cut of the cylindrical shell - as truncated. To the shell, in its middle part, there is a diffuser's conical surface attached with its larger base, and on this surface there are at least three windows for air ejection. The smaller base of the truncated conical surface of the diffuser is fixed at the sprayer's outlet and has a diameter equal to the diameter of the sprayer's outlet opening. The sprayer comprises a bushing, at one side of which there is a partition installed perpendicularly to its axis, connected to an inlet nozzle with an opening to supply a foaming and a fire-quenching solution into a vortex chamber fixed coaxially on the inner surface of the sprayer's bushing, and arranged in the form of a cylindrical cavity of the proposed configuration with at least three tangential openings connected to the sprayer's cavity joined with the nozzle opening.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of spraying a fire-quenching liquid solution of a foaming agent.
