SUBSTANCE: invention relates to furniture industry and may be used to manufacture high-quality furniture with imitation of massive wood. Method to decorate facade surfaces of cabinet furniture, including making of an attachable shaped element and its fixation on a carrier base, differing by the fact that the attachable shaped element is arranged in the form of two parts identical in shape, and a cut is made in the carrier base, with shape corresponding to the shape of the attachable shaped element in plan, then in boths parts of the attachable shaped element angular recesses 4 are made along the entire contout of the attachable shaped element parts for depth, of not less than half of the carrier base thickness, a layer of glue is applied into inner surfaces of the attachable shaped element parts, afterwards parts of the attachable shaped element are laid at the opposite sides of the carrier base so that its edges enter angular recesses of the attachable shaped element parts.

EFFECT: provision of reliable fixation of the attachable shaped element to the carrier base, for instance, a door panel, improved appearance of a product.
