FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sanitary-engineering equipment of railway passenger cars. Proposed water tank comprises housing 1 and cover 2 made from composite materials, reinforced by hollow rods extruded from fiberglass and have inner lining from food polyethylene. Heat-isolation layer from rigid polyurethane coated by fiberglass protective coating is arranged on said housing and cover. Housing 1 has water inlet and outlet 7 and 8. Metal frame is arranged on top edge of said housing under said heat-isolation coat to embrace the tank along its edges and provided with brackets 10 extending from said protective coat for attachment to car elements. Housing walls and bottom are reinforced by metal frames arranged under heat-isolation coat and have their ends attached to aforesaid metal frame. Electric heating elements are build in housing 1.
EFFECT: reduced weight and reliable operation in severe climatic conditions.
