SUBSTANCE: invention relates to low-permeable elastomeric nanocomposite mixtures. The invention describes methods of preparing nanocomposite mixtures, comprising the following steps: bringing a multifunctional intercalation additive containing a cationic residue separated from the anionic residue by at least 1 carbon atom, with clay at temperature and during a period of time sufficient for obtaining at least partially intercalated clay; and bringing the at least partially intercalated clay into contact with a functionalised copolymer containing one or more functional groups, at least part of which is dissolved in a solvent, at temperature and during a period of time sufficient for preparing nanocomposite mixtures. The functionalised copolymer includes a statistical elastomeric copolymer containing a C2-C8 olefin monomer, an alkylstyrene monomer and a functionalised alkylstyrene monomer. Described also is a method of preparing the nanocomposite mixture and an article containing nanocomposite mixtures.
EFFECT: ready nanocomposite can be used in articles, particularly in tyres.
