FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises a tray with a guiding surface for ammunition with helical ledges, corresponding to cuts in a channel of a weapon barrel. The tray is made of two parts. The first part of the tray faces the barrel, is spring-loaded and may swing on the axis in the vertical plane relative to the second part of the tray, and is equipped with helical ledges, having a smooth transition to the guiding surface of the second part of the tray. Tops of the helical ledges form a cylindrical surface arranged along the diametre that exceeds or is equal to a diametre of the barrel channel at the margins. The angle of helical ledges inclination complies with the angle of ledges inclination on the ammunition, and cuts on the tray have width, which is not less than the thickness of helical ledges at the ammunition.

EFFECT: prevention of propping when ammunition is re-sent with finished helical ledges into a channel of a weapon barrel.
