FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: access terminal supports information in the active set and controls it. The information on the active set indicates a set of access points, with which an access terminal has an active connection. In some versions of realisation the information on the active set includes resources dedicated to the access terminal, corresponding to various access points in the active set. In various versions of realisation a transport tunnelling of the level 2 is used to send a request for connection and (or) information with a response to a request for connection between access points. In some versions of realisation the access terminal may additionally assist in coordination of resources of access control of a medium (MAC-resources), dedicated to the access terminal with various access points.
EFFECT: better establishment of connections and updating information on connections and storage of information on the fact, which access points are used by the access terminal at this moment.
