SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of using an access terminal, wherein the method comprises the following steps: RLP heading of an RLP packet is analysed in order to determine whether a re-processing indicator value has been given in the RLP heading, and if so, then: i) payload corresponding to the value of the indicator is transmitted to an addressing level module, and ii) the addressing level module is used to deliver the payload which corresponds to the value of the indicator to an RLP module which corresponds to the value of the address included in the RLP packet with the re-processing indicator.
EFFECT: improved processing of fragmented packets.
