CUTTING HEAD FOR LAWN MOWER, TRIMMER OR SIMILAR DEVICE Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A01D34/416

Abstract RU 2420052 C1

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and may be used in devices to cut vegetation with a rotary fish line. The cutting head comprises at least one passage for the cutting line and a locking element for the cutting line. The locking element is arranged in the form of a ratchet mechanism, which comprises a geared wheel at one side, and a ratchet - at the other side. The geared wheel is installed with the possibility of rotation around the axis, and its teeth protrude into the passage. The ratchet makes it possible for a geared wheel to rotate in the specified direction and prevents rotation in the opposite direction. The cutting line enters the passage and is locked there with the geared wheel and the ratchet.

EFFECT: proposed design of the cutting head ensures reliable locking of the cutting line strand.
