FIELD: plant trimming technique.
SUBSTANCE: cutting unit has rotating cutting head and at least one cutting line. Line has at least one localized working zone with cutting edge defined by two faces. Cutting head has means for holding said line in direction enabling formation by said cutting edge of plant trimming zone. Faces defining cutting edge are directed upward and downward relative to cutting edge.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of cutting unit owing to optimal application of cutting line.
