FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to neurology, cardiology and pathological anatomy. Severity of the state of a patient with cerebral infarction, which developed at the background of chronic ischemic heart disease and diabetes mellitus, is calculated by summing up the points by the map for predicting ischemic stroke at the background of chronic ischemic heart disease and diabetes mellitus, if the sum is 61 points and higher, high probability of lethal outcome is predicted.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to estimate severity of patient's state with higher degree of objectivity, basing on the analysis of the most aspects of pathological process, which will facilitate the choice of optimal therapeutic tactics.
