SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of hygiene and deals with self-foaming soap-free shaving gel, which contains in cosmetically acceptable medium a) at least, one water phase; b) at least, one N-acyl carcosine, where acyl group contains 10-20 carbon atoms, in amount, constituting less than 4% wt relative to total composition weight; c) at least, one mineral or organic base in amount sufficient for solubilising N-acyl carcosine and providing pH 4-8; d) at least, one amphoteric or zwitterionic surface-active substance; e) at least, one non-ionogenic surface-active substance; f) at least, one self-foaming substance. Invention also relates to shaving method with application of claimed gel.
EFFECT: invention provides gel with increased stability and with good foam-generating properties.
