FIELD: fire-fighting means.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to quality performance analysis of materials and products, namely to creation of an experimental method for assessing the protective properties of canisters of respiratory protectors. The protective properties of the canisters of the respiratory protectors are assessed in the following order: mixing ozone and air; determining the ozone concentration in the canister inlet; sampling the air mix in the canister outlet; converting the derived ozone retention time values to the chlorine cyanide protective power time.
EFFECT: invention allows assessing the state of health of canisters with no toxic surfactants that does not require creating special conditions for the experimental quality performance analysis of canister models for personnel protection.
