FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with production of adsorbents based of charcoal, in particular, with production of an adsorbent for sorption of chemically dangerous substances of inhalation action, that may appear in emergency. The adsorbent for means of protection containing active charcoal impregnated with oxides and salts of copper and chromium, nickel chloride, represents a mechanical mixture of two component parts, at that the first part in amount of 45- 55 vol. %about. % contains as its ingredients compounds in terms of copper - 4.5-7.5 mass % and the chromium compounds in terms of chromium - 1.2-2.2 mass %, active charcoal - the rest, and the second part in amount of 55-45 vol. % contains 15-25 mass % of nickel chloride and active charcoal - the rest. First component part of the an adsorbent used for the means of protection may additionally contains silver oxide in terms of silver - 0.02-0.10 mass % and /or triethylenediamine in amount 0.3-0.6 mass % and / or potassium carbonate in amount of up to 4 mass %. The adsorbent for means of a protection micropores volume is no less than 0.4 cm3/g. The adsorbent has high enough time of protective action of organic, acidic, alkaline and neutral characters and by toxic substances. EFFECT: the adsorbent is rather effective in protection for a long time. 3 cl, 2 tbl
