FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of sorbents used in individual protection means for respiratory organs. Proposed method comprises impregnating carbon base containing catalytically active metal admixtures with water solution of triethylenediamine followed by blowing by air and thermal treatment. Note here that method is implemented directly in gas mask filtration box.
EFFECT: additional protective properties as to vapors of radioactive substances.
