FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device 1 comprises, at least, two blades 2, 3 moving in both directions relative to each other. Said blades 2, 3 have teeth 8, 9 running perpendicular to motion direction P and gaps 25, 26 arranged between said teeth. Sections facing each on teeth 8, 9 have surfaces 4, 5 in sliding contact with each other that make cutting edges 34, 35 of side surfaces 33, 20 that limit gaps between teeth. Note here that during motion P of blades 2, 3 in both directions, interacting gaps 25, 26 between said teeth form constantly varying gaps 32 for hair to be clamped and, then, cut. In compliance with this invention, free ends of teeth 9 of one blade extend on sections 15 beyond free ends of teeth 8 of the other blade 1. Note that ledges 17 extend from the side of contact surfaces 5 of aforesaid sections 15 of teeth 9. Blade 3 may oscillate in both directions.
EFFECT: higher quality of hairstyling.
