SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hair clipping devices. Blade set of the electric hair clipper includes a fixed and movable blade. Fixed blade contains the first and second walls. Each wall forms the first and second surfaces and a transverse leading edge with protrusions. First surfaces of the first and second walls form a transversely extending guide slot for the movable blade. Movable blade has a notched front edge and is made with the possibility of transverse movement in the guide slot. In this case, the toothed front edge of the movable blade interacts with the teeth of the fixed blade to ensure the cutting of the hair. First and second walls are connected to each other by a separate connecting section. Connecting portion is located between the transverse edges of the guide slot and serves as a guide cam for the movable blade. Invention also includes a hair clipper and a method of manufacturing a blade set for a hair clipper.
