SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of silicates and frit compositions for producing glase meant for applying on articles made from majolica. The glase frit contains quartz sand, pegmatite, borax, soda, chalk and a beryl concentrate, with the following ratio of components in wt %: quartz sand 20.0-23.0; pegmatite 9.0-11.0; borax 39.0-43.0; soda 15.0-19.0; chalk 4.0-5.0; beryl concentrate 5.0-7.0.
EFFECT: obtaining environmentally safe majolica.
