SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of silicates and frit compositions for preparing glase for applying on majolica articles. The glase frit consists of the following in wt %: quartz sand 32.0-38.0; pegmatite 20.0-25.0; borax 20.0-25.0; soda 15.0-20.0; chalk 2.0-3.0. The frit also contains ochre in amount of 1.0-5.0 wt %.
EFFECT: obtaining environmentally safe glase for majolica.
