SUBSTANCE: foot (3) has a surface (5) of contact with clothes and a facility to hold an antimicrobial agent. By means of contact of the surface of contact with clothes with a piece of clothes, which happens during ironing, the antimicrobial agent is fed to the clothes. The antimicrobial agent is fed to the clothes by means of a simple placement of the iron on the clothes and its movement along the clothes surface. The clothes remain more fresh for a longer period of time. Besides, this invention relates to a foot, a steam ironing device and methods to manufacture an iron and a foot, accordingly.
EFFECT: increased quality of clothes treatment in process of ironing.
