FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: disconnecting device for installation of shank end in well consists of telescopically interacting upper and lower cases with ball holders between them. Further, the device consists of a seat interacting with the ball holder from inside. Upon shearing a breakable element the seat performs lengthwise motion downward restricted with a stop. The stop is located in a lower part of the upper case where into the seat for a free-fall ball is installed and fixed with the breakable element preventing its displacement in a transport position. Also, a circular recess with an upper and lower faces for ball holders is made in the lower case inside. The upper end of the lower case corresponds to a funnel with grooves along perimetre. The upper case from inside is equipped with a circular boss with lugs on a lower end fitting grooves of the lower case. A packing unit is positioned on external surface of the upper part of the lower case. The unit pressure tight interacts with walls of a well.
EFFECT: disconnecting device reliably lowering shank end into well, facilitating rotation, washing to place of its installation, and sealing annular space of well with simple packing; said device is applicable in directional wells.
