FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method involves infrared inspection of one of the surfaces of the test object, comparing theoretical and measurement results and choosing for further calculations heat conductivity values from given values, which can provide congruence conditions. Before infrared inspection of the structure, thermal inertia time and infrared imager resolution are determined based on minimum defect. Infrared imaging is carried out by measuring the temperature field of the surface with a spatial period determined by measuring minimum defect of the structure. The value of temperature on opposite sides of the structure are measured with time intervals and heat flux on the inner side of the structure.
EFFECT: high reliability and efficiency of control of heat-transfer in unsteady conditions with a wide field of application.
