FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for diagnostics of inhomogeneous structures. According to disclosed solution prior to thermal-imaging examination of thermal inertia time is selected equal to 3-20 minutes depending on rate of reaction of components of polyurethane foam, mark shell and layer thickness of insulating layer of foamed polyurethane on pipe. In thermal imaging examination radiation intensity of object is measured in stationary mode. Measurements of thermographic images is carried out with said delay in time from moment of completion of filling components foamed polyurethane. Processing of measurement results is carried out by calculating intensity of radiation heat flow on photography thermal imager in each pixel surface. Parameter describing presence of defects, difference of values of temperature (t°i) in each pixel of analysed surface and average temperature of analysed surface (T°sr) and by comparing obtained difference of temperatures Δt°i in each pixel with maximum value of temperature change (X°), area of location of hidden defects.

EFFECT: high accuracy of monitoring.
