FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: magnetic system (2) with alternating poles and two gaps in the working part is placed in the metal housing (1) of the device. Two measuring electrodes (4) which are connected to a differential amplifier are placed on insulating plates (5) over the surface of the magnetic system. The electrodes are in form of plates and their entire surface is coated with dielectric material (6). Gaps in the magnetic system can be filled with a substance with no ferromagnetic properties. In the version, the device has a streamlined shape and one gap in the working part of the magnetic system.
EFFECT: shorter warm-up time by excluding electrochemical action of the ambient liquid on measuring electrodes.
