FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method is implemented owing to using at the second detection stage of sounding signal with recurrence frequency chosen on the basis of distance of the outermost target detected at the first stage. At that, as sounding signal of the second detection stage there chosen is sounding signal with maximum recurrence frequency at which all the targets detected at the first detection stage can be detected.
EFFECT: reducing the time consumed for inspection of zone and detection of targets.
