FIELD: radiolocation. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in pulse-Doppler radars which emit discrete set composed of N repetition frequencies that is repeated in sequence. As result reception of information in the form of series of pulses ( pulse burst ) reflected from target on various repetition frequencies is provided. Range finder has antenna, antenna switch, transmitter, synchronizer, receiver, detector, on-line storage, controlling key, code word former, read-only storage realizing this reference code matrix. EFFECT: possibility of measurement of range to target while scanning space without usage of linear modulation of carrier of emitted signal. 1 cl, 12 dwg
