FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-extinguishing means and may be used to extinguish crown fires, especially in regions with no sufficient water quantity available. A device comprises a self-propelled platform, where a high-pressure and high-capacity compressor plant is installed, there is a hingedly installed telescopic receiver rod connected to a compressor plant by a flexible air duct and arranged as capable of changing an inclination angle with the help of a pneumatic cylinder, and also extension under action of a compressed air pumped into it and fixation of the necessary length with the help of a hoist. The last link of the telescopic receiver rod has an exhaust nozzle with an electric pulse air valve. At the end of the last link of the telescopic receiver rod there is a chamber fixed with a fire-extinguishing substance, connected to an exhaust nozzle by a siphon tube to dispense a portion of the fire-extinguishing substance accompanied with a blasting exhaust of compressed air from the telescopic receiver rod.
EFFECT: reliable fire-extinguishing.
