FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packages and may be used in producing moisture absorbing tape from foamed polystyrene and package made thereof. Package represents a tray extruded from foamed polystyrene sheet with bottom to accommodate products and lateral walls inclined with bottom and made flanged. Note here that said bottom is provided with recesses or holes for fluid to flow inside the bottom layers made on the tray cavity side. One-piece tray is made from foamed polystyrene sheet wherein material layers, both outside and adjoining outer surface, have closed pores while sheet material layers arranged between aforesaid layers have open pores communicated via recesses or hole with tray cavity in the zone of product laid in the tray.
EFFECT: product moisture absorption, simplified extrusion.
