SUBSTANCE: shot bit includes housing with threaded nipple and slots and slot overlapping unit. Slot overlapping unit is performed in a form of a bush with projections at the lower end face. Note that bush is installed with the possibility of longitudinal movement. Slot lower end face has flushing grooves. In order to avoid bush cranking the outer surface of the housing has grooves for bush projections. At that the grooves are aligned with housing slots.

EFFECT: higher operating reliability of drilling bit, higher technical and economic parameters of its operation.
