FIELD: rock cutting tools, particularly drilling bits provided with diamond cutting structure for well drilling along with core taking.
SUBSTANCE: bit comprises body with projection and matrix divided into separate sectors with flushing grooves. Projection of body end is made as removable ring. The removable ring is provided with radial grooves aligned with flushing ones of matrix and toroidal end from matrix side. Body has annular slot made in working end to receive and secure removable ring by means of intermediate material, which fills space between removable ring and walls of annular body slot for the full height thereof. Centering projections are made in side surface of upper removable ring part. Bit production method involves installing inserts for flushing grooves creation in mold; distributing diamonds; covering diamonds with charge material; performing prior prepressing; performing pressing with the use of body and impregnating operations. Before charge material pouring removable ring is installed in mold. Inserts for flushing grooves creation are arranged in end ring grooves. Charge material prepressing is carried out up to exposing of upper removable ring part on which body with mating annular slot is installed. Then above cavity defined by annular slot is communicated with outer and inner body surfaces through radial cuts for the full slot height.
EFFECT: increased mechanical drilling speed and increased efficiency of rock cutting due to matrix damping in axial and radial directions.
