FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: procedure for formation of blocking plug in well consists in supply of suspension out of fibrous material into well, and in preliminary placement of lifting pipe in well. Further, a magnetic device is placed in tube space of the lifting pipe at a level of the blocking plug placement. Magnetic particles are pumped into annular space and magnetic field of the magnetic device is actuated. It results in formation of a barrier out of magnetic particles on walls of the lifting pipe. This barrier initiates mechanical accumulation of fibrous material.
EFFECT: exact placement of plug, reduced time for its placement, reduced capital expenditures.
