METHOD TO ISOLATE CONE OF BOTTOM WATER IN GAS PRODUCING WELL Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC E21B43/32 E21B33/13 

FIELD: gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas industry and is intended to limit and eliminate inflow of bottom water in gas producing wells. Proposed method comprises installation of surface equipment to perform water shutoff operations with application of coiled tubing (top-down): injector with guide arch, sealing device, upper riser, blowout preventor (BOP) unit, throttle, lower riser, preventer with shear seal plates; through the tubing string a flexible tubing string with a connector is lowered into the well, two check valves, emergency disconnector and jet nozzle to top perforations, close wedge and tube dies on BOP unit, process liquid is supplied through flexible tubing string for flushing of well bottom, wherein throttle nozzle should be open; after flushing of well bottom, opening of BOP wedge and tube dies, flexible tubing string is lifted, then the assembly is lowered to the well by flexible tubing string consisting of a connector, an inflatable packer, two check valves, emergency disconnector and funnel with oblique cut to flooded interval of formation, performing water-insulating composition pumping on micro-cement base with its forcing into watered part of productive formation for creation of water-proof screen and fixation of collector; then micro-cement barrel is installed in the well and flexible tubing string assembly is removed to day surface; well is left waiting for hardening of micro-cement; further, the well is repunched, developed and brought to the mode.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of waterproofing operations in gas producing wells flooded due to formation of bottom water cone.
