FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: mechanical gear with flexible interlinking consists of driving (1) and driven (2) sprockets, of case (3) of gear, of end cover, of working balls and of gap compensating device (6) with shaped sprocket (7). In case of local damage independent component parts of the gear facilitate replacing out-of-work part, while leaving the rest parts working. As working balls there can be used steel balls produced at ball bearing plants in various product mix. The gear can be implemented at vertical arrangement of parallel shafts, also at set off of the driving and driven sprockets on parallel shafts. At good gap-less fit of working balls the gear is reversed.
EFFECT: raised processability and service life of gear in whole.
