FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: thermal protection of control compartment of fighting machine includes the main armour and protective element in the form of outer screen attached to the main armour by means of bosses so that air gap is provided between screen and the main armour. The main armour is equipped with thermal protective layers from liquid heat insulation, isolon and vinilis leather. Outer screen is made from aluminium 7-9 mm thick. The inner side of the main armour is coated with layer of Alfatek liquid heat insulation 2-3 mm thick by means of which isolon layer 25-35 mm thick is attached and which is bonded on the outside with vinilis leather. The outer side of the main armour is coated with aluminium foil.

EFFECT: reducing heat load on the equipment of control compartment of zenith self-propelled complex and improving its operating reliability in conditions of dry tropical and subtropical climate.
